Quetta, Chief Minister for Balochistan (CM), Jam Kamal Alyani, reported on the restoration and construction of the National Highway section Kuchlak-Khuzdar (N-25). The Central Development Working Party’s (CDWP) allocated PKR 81.5 billion earlier in May to build a 330.52-kilometer long road section of the N-25 highway. In a tweet from his official handle, the minister claimed that road development would minimize traffic and tragic accidents. He added that the dual carriageway along this route was the region’s long-standing wish to improve connectivity. The bidding was carried out through a new E-bidding system that guaranteed openness and accountability by the National Highway Authority (NHA) and the Communication Ministry. The deadline for submissions was 27 October. The Minister also announced that the Nawan Killi area would be a training institution for women.
