Is Apsense just a hotbed for affiliate marketers?

I recently joined another site and I'm sorry to find so many affiliate marketing ads all over the place. Is this the new hotbed for affiliate marketing? I really want to get value out of a site such as Apsense, but it's giving me a negative impression. I might be totally wrong. Maybe I've just not used it long enough?

Joe, Terrence, thanx for your comments (and all the others). I'll spend some more time in bed with Apsense and see whether I can get some action out of it ;-) At the moment all I'm getting are headaches. But I DO see enormeous potential and will continue to try and fish out the networkers with similar goals than me. That is to build up an international network of skilled people who can work well together on projects.

I agree with Perry Davis when he said that this is a SOCIAL BUSINESS NETWORK, so you should expect business articles, ads, etc. HOWEVER, that being said, what annoys me the most are the messages from my new friends that actually ASK me to tell them about my business and then all I get in response is THEM TELLING ME how great their business is. I do not even get one comment about what they thought of my website, my thoughts, even what I wrote.

This tells me that they were not really intere

Dirk,

There is a significant number of IM folks around Apsense. There are also those of us that promote our own online businesses through Apsense (like myself). There is definitely a place for your interests, wherever they lie. Try to find groups that are interested in what you are, the more specific the better. I've found this works well to utilize the benefits that Apsense offers.

I don't like weak and junk affiliate programs either. But, if an affiliate program is valuable, then I love to click on that ad and see what's all about. Internet is full of affiliate and network marketing products and sites. Who can stop their existence? And why? When it comes to decisions, I just ignore what seems to be bad and low quality and insist on the best. It's not easy, but it's possible. Wish you to find the best quality and value content on the net.

Well I for one think we have a great litle community here. Most of the residents are struggling to get by and the rest of us try to raise a helping hand when we can,
I heard one forum here gives away $2000.oo gift certificates to business seminars. May be if you look real hard you will find it :)
Here is to your prosperity
