Need some help to make APsense work efficiently

Hello: I need some help to find ou how to make Apsense work best. I would like to know how I can get members from other groups to join as a contact 4 me. I have already sent e-mails to some of my friends to join. The desk top marketing model does not seem to be working? I downloaded the the program but when I click the icon nothing happens. Do I need to do something eles? Any help and suggestions about the program would be appreciated. Thank You for your time. Fran
