what is vanish mode on messenger

Messenger from Facebook has an optional "Vanish Mode" feature that makes messages disappear from chats once they've been seen. When a chat's Vanish Mode is enabled, all "seen" messages will vanish when the user closes the conversation. Vanish Mode can be turned on and off for individual conversations.
