How To Transform Your Organization's Culture
As the boss, the leader or the manager of a company, you must manage your employees with tact.
Having a certain power over them - because they work for you - you can tell them what to do. But if you force them to focus exclusively on results, it does not always get results. The truth is that people even at their desks have a lot of choice. They could be working or they could be on social networks such as Facebook. They can be doing a lot of things. They could even be working but not giving it their full energy. You don't have total control over people as to how much they really give of themselves to work.
In reality, what drives results are the productive actions. What drives productive actions are our habits, the things that we're doing day in and day out, almost unconsciously.
Rather than going against this idea and trying to make people do things, you must find a better way to transform the culture of your organization by giving choices to your team members.
You can, for example make your meetings optional by saying : " this meeting is optional. You have a lot to do. Do whatever you feel is necessary. We're all doing so much here in the company."
This is a sign of good cultures and you can very quickly shift between laughing and getting things done.
