Tony Robbins & Oprah Winfrey
Tony Robbins & Oprah Winfrey
Successful People think alike
One of the craziest arguments happened to me
recently on Apsense. I wrote a title about “60
Seconds Success” which someone found a title to a
eBook that had the same title to it and said I was
trying to sell that book.
I don’t have a clue who this guy is (the books author)
but I’m honored to know that I’m not the only one
who thinks like that...
Tony Robbins & Oprah Winfrey are of the same
people to me. I know short minded or people that
are comfortable being in a rut will say:
One is man the other is a woman.
One is black the other is white.
One is richer than the other.
One is better than the other.
I remember roughly coming up when Tony Robbins
first started out giving speeches where he said he
was living in a bathtub.
Can you imagine that? Now his bathrooms are as
big as the whole apartments he shared back then!
Oprah, was molested as a child, raised in poverty
and having a son at 14 years old that passed away
as an infant. She overcame all of those...
The atmosphere that they were around and the
influences that was overwhelming their growth
became a mere shadow in their mind and actions at
some point. That should be the same for you as
well!
Successful type people don’t just hear the message
and worship another person for their success...they
(you) become the message of that success in a
sense...
What I mean is...and I know this is really hard to do
but you need to do things that maybe against your
conditional thoughts. Make the leap that successful
people are doing and saying not just admiring their
“god” like image.
Get up and have a meeting with yourself if others
around you don’t want to hear it. Next, do it
immediately which may cut your online chatting
short but you have done something (and over time
you will see all the fruits of your labor).
It may cut your phone conversations, tweeting,
Skyping short but there is a bigger picture ahead for
you.
Looking at someone’s pics of their:
House
Cars
Boats
Vacations
Money
Etc...
Helps you how? OK, I will agree that it may inspire
you to move but after that feeling wears off where
are you?
You need to peel the onion back to where the
famous person you respect was in a situation more
closer to where you are now.
When you get to that point that is closer to your life
in comparison then the lesson begins for you. Lock
in on how their mindset changed in the mist of
rubble and despair to one of hope and promise.
Again, spending hours a day to looking at what
famous or well off people are doing today will not
effect your future...looking at what they did
yesteryear which reflects your today and duplicating
those actions will impact you and your family’s
tomorrow!
Running out to buy someone’s famous outfit doesn’t
change my lifestyle. Sharing pics of someone’s new
house or car doesn’t make my car or house better.
Finding out when and how they began the blood,
sweat and tears towards success is the true path.
The difference between the majority that struggles
and the few that soars (successful) is the few
became fed up everyday and did something about it
everyday not just a hyped up moment in life...
