Paco Troxclair Puts New Orleans Back on the Map with his New Single ‘Duffy’
The local rapper turned international artist Paco Troxclair announces the release of his new single and discusses theprocess behind his new album.
United States - August 22 2015: Paco Troxclair is pleased to announce the forthcoming release of his highly-anticipated single Duffy. For the past several months, Troxclair and his talented team have been working on the song. It was produced mixed and mastered by FullPack Music, KLC the Drum Major, and Mix By Rich. Duffy will be available for purchase on iTunes on August 25 2015.
Paco Troxclair is a professional artist who was born and raised in the New Orleans Calliope Project. He enjoyedlistening to music of all genres but became inspired by local artists Big Mo and Nut and soon realized that rapping was his passion. Throughout his adolescence, Troxclair would write rap songs, visit video shoots, and frequent music studios with his friends.
In 2011, Paco Troxclair released his first mixtape entitled 12/21/12, which included a variety of sounds and showcased Paco's unique musical talents. The mixtape received positive accolades from listeners who saw that Troxclair wasn't just a New Orleans rapper, but that his music could fit into multiple genres. In 2013, Paco released his second mixtape entitled SAS (Socially Anti-Social), which helped proved again that Troxclair was able to reach a wide variety of listeners.
During the past several years, Paco Troxclair has performed his songs at well-known venues in New Orleans such as the House of Blues and Cafe Istanbul and various college campus events. His performances caught the attention of the internationally-acclaimed, Fullpack and KLC and all parties agreed to work on Troxclair's latest album together
