More than 40 wine vendors representing wines from all over the world will be available at Stockton Fire Company's 22nd Annual Wine Tasting event. Proudly sponsored by STOCKTON FINE WINES, the event will run from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, October 10th, at the firehouse on Mill Street in Stockton.

Proceeds from this annual event go to support the Stockton Volunteer Fire Company and the Stockton First Aid Squad. These two organizations provide valuable public service, responding to approximately 300 calls per year.

Stockton Fine Wines is a family owned business. Paul and his wife Jennifer purchased Stockton Fine Wines 2014. His family has been in the wine business since 1933. Paul Tilch grew up working in one of the iconic stores of the Washington, D.C. area, Silesia Liquors, which was founded by Paul's great-grandfather and eventually passed to his father Raymond and Uncle Michael. Raymond and Michael instilled in Paul the importance of recognizing a customer's taste and guiding them through the broad landscape of wines. Over the years, publications like the Washington Post and Washingtonian have often called Silesia Liquors “one of the best fine wine and spirit stores in the area."

Stockton Fine Wines is located along the Delaware River in the quaint town of Stockton. The store has developed a new reputation for service and an eclectic beer, wine and liquor selection at great prices. “I hope to continue our family legacy, while also enhancing the reputation of Stockton Fine Wines as a destination for unique wines and spirits," said Paul Tilch.

In addition to the wines, be prepared to have your appetite satisfied by restauranteurs and caterers of the local areas.

A limited number of tickets will be available for this event. Tickets are $60 each, and can be purchased after August 1 at STOCKTON FINE WINES on Bridge Street in Stockton, or for credit card sales by going online to www.stocktonfireco.com. Any questions please give a call to Marion 609-915-7567.
