So far, the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Apple Watch are the most memorable events of the year, but the following seasons still have something in store. According to the latest tech news, 2015 will bring several exciting launches, from OS updates to brand new gadgets that promise to change the tech market.

Visit several tech news sites and you will definitely see that the upcoming Windows 10 is one of the most anticipated releases. Expected to come out by the end of 2015, the new version of Windows promises to fix some of the biggest problems in Windows 8.1 and trace a new direction for Microsoft. The upgrade obviously comes with several major functionality improvements, but also with some fun bits, like Cortana, the new voice assistant. Windows 10 is not the only exciting release from Microsoft. At about the same time as Windows 10 we can also expect to see the HoloLens, also from Microsoft. The augmented reality gadget is already surrounded by a lot of hype from the blogging community and so far we’ve seen it in many previews. Gaming is obviously its selling point, but, for the future, we can expected devices like the HoloLense to take social networking and entertainment to a whole new level.

In the smartphone world, the OnePlus 2 is also expected with a lot of curiosity, especially after its teasing campaign and delayed release date. A successor to one of the highest rates affordable Android phones, this ambitious project has already gained a lot of fans worldwide, although it is not easy to buy. From the leaked images and previews we’ve seen so far, it is definitely a force to be reckoned with, but whether or not it is worth the higher price tag, we will only know after the official launch of the OnePlus 2.

The new 12-inch iPad Pro is rumored to be released somewhere in autumn 2015, as a direct competitor to Microsoft Surface. No other flagship phones or tablets are expected for the rest of the year, but things will definitely not be boring in the smart TV department. We are now experiencing the advent of 4K and the best news for users is that we can expect a drop in prices after 2014 didn’t quite manage to deliver the promised results. If you love smart watches, then the rest of 2015 will definitely be great for you; even though the highlight of the year, the Apple Watch, has already been launched, new Android Wear gadgets will be released, which means that we’ll have more options to choose from and, possibly, new innovations from Samsung Gear S.
