DFO Leveling Efficiency Guide

As we know, Neople started to run Dungeon Fighter Online for a few month. With the public testing, DFO gets widely good feedback. In my opinion, it will become widely popular as the comments on Facebook are quite a lot after every news published by Neople.

I have played the Chinese server recently, and I played it in 2011. Before I wrote the guide, I want to briefly introduce some game mechanics for you.

There is a Fatigue system in DFO. It takes one FP (Fatigue Point) to run one room.

If you fails a dungeon, you will lose fatigue points and stamina. If you have to use DFO gold, you can buy some from online site which is much cheaper than buying from official site.

To start the dungeons with special borders, like gold and black, in the section screen, it takes 8 FP. But it takes no FP for the room inside them.

Below are some general tips for dungeon running and some specific tips fro certain quests which can maximize your exp and DFO gold farming with the limited FP.

Specific tips for certain quests

The MP potion quest has the wrong description. Instead of a NORMAL MP POTION, you are looking for a GENERAL MP POTION. It is not necessary for you to do every quest coming by as some quests chains offer better rewards and some dungeon runs offer better boss loot. If you have leveled your account to level 35, you can get a level 35 quest completion ticket which can be used for skipping some quests so you can do the efficient ones.

#1 You should left at least one FP before you run the last dungeon of the day. For instance, it you left 14 FP, and the dungeon I has 15 rooms and you need to use 9 FP to complete your quests, you should only run 14 rooms.

#2 It is not necessary to clear all dungeons, just clear the requirements of the quests. If you want to gain exp, doing quests is much faster than grinding to buy DFO gold.

#3 DO NOT use the exp potions which are gotten from quests. You can use the exp points later when leveling takes Longer. Keep in mind that the exp points have a 72 hours expiration date. You can use the exp potions right before the boss die if you can well handle the time or in the boss room as they only affect the amount of the exp that get from clearing dungeon.

#4 You can party up with players who offer bonus exp per dungeon run, which it is up to how long it takes you to group party as it burn your fatigue points.

#5 Loot drops are client side now, therefore, every drop you see is yours. (Not sure about drop rate when partying, can someone confirm?) Always run on the highest difficulty if you want to maximize your daily exp. Although for those with less time to play, consider normal difficulty runs, as those are most exp/time efficient out of all runs.
