FFXIV Beginers’ game guide

As many of my friends wants to play FFXIV, I come up with idea to write a guide for FFXIV newbies. They encounter some problems about language communication, materials source and some other similar problems. I am a player who started to play FFXIV after patch 2.2 released. And I reached level 50 in a few weeks. Now I usually play in Japan sever and reached level 8 yesterday. I will introduce ways to level fast in JP server. In this article, I will tell how to enhance equipment and some essential skills to join a team. Hope my experience is useful for newbies.

Before referring to leveling, I want to talk about each Job in FFXIV. Every beginner may have questions on which job is the most powerful or the strongest. Or you will want to know which job suits for you. FFXIV is a game that similar to world of warcraft. It is the so-called Japanese WoW. When you choose your primary class, you should take your job into consideration.

There are five output jobs of Tank, separately are monk, Dragoon, Black Mage, Summoner and Bard. Because I usually play as Tank, then I simply introduce the career of DPS. The most suitable job for new players is Bard. Black Mage owns excellent damage, especially AOE. Due to long time to read scroll, this job is not good for JP players. And Black Mage get ostracized in Aggression Part.

Summoner is equivalent of Surgery in WoW. Summoner has pretty good battle abilities among multi-target. Because it has overload in Aggressive Part, it is not recommended to be chosen by fresh player. Monk and Dragoon are god for short-distance attack. They have good solo output, but they need to frequently run to do output in copies. Compared to long-distance job, they need better familiar with boss’s skills, especially for Monk. If you have a good play, you can get perfect DPS. If you have great confidence in your operation and conscious, you can choose Monk or Dragoon.

There are two nurse, White Mage and Scholar. In fact, FFXIV is not friendly to nurse. 2.5s GCD leads nurse should have excellent to predict, especially in Aggressive Part. The pressure to be nurse is incredible, so it is not suggested to choose nurse for new players. If you are confident in your operation and delays, then you can choose White Mage. Specific processes:
Level 1-50, what you need to do is follow main line. Experience of mainline is quite rich, so you can quit secondary line. Later, there is another secondary line for your second job. It is simple for low copy. I will introduce copy of Level 38 and level 41.

LV38 copy: an old T mobs do not pull, so the nurse kite, DPS BOSS Kuangchou body on the line.
