Are You Afraid Of Help?
After 14 years of earning online, I think I have learned a few things that could help someone who is still seeking their first dime of online income, wouldn't you think?
But the truth is, it's nearly impossible to get people to accept help online. It seems like everyone is afraid everyone is out to rip them off, so they lurk in the shadows on communities like APSense and keep pushing the wrong buttons. Then they complain that everything is a scam and all the claims they read are lies designed to cheat them out of even more money.
I admit that there is a predominance of shady programs around, but common sense should point most of them out, if you just spend a few minutes confiding in someone who has been around a while. Everyone online is not a scam artist.
For example, a close Internet friend approached me tonight with a program he was all excited about (no names mentioned) where he could join free and only get 2 referrals to be walking in tall cotton in a short time. He said it was free, so there was nothing to lose. Actually he had a lot to lose, a lot of time and his future reputation. He wanted me to join under him because I was a good promoter and that would make him rich that much faster. I promised him I would watch the video and keep an open mind, so I did.
All it took was a few quick searches on YouTube and Google and I Skyped him a few links, to which he replied, "You sure know how to break somebody's heart" and I responded, "Better now than later".
The bottom line is, do you have anyone you trust enough to ask for help when you consider something new?
More important, would you listen to what they advise you to do?
