Seat Post Bag
Cycling is a wonderful way to blow off a little steam or relax on a nice, sunny Saturday. A lot of people are extremely into cycling as a sport and buy all kinds of fancy gear to try and make their ride better, faster and more comfortable. Whether you are a diehard cyclist or just a weekend rider, one piece of equipment that is essential to any cyclist is a bag for your bike where you can keep necessary items.
There are all sorts of different bags available for purchase that can hold just about anything. One of the most common forms of bags that are seen not only in cycling, but for many different situations, is a regular backpack. Given the name, backpacks are meant to be carried on your back and usually have a variety of different sized pockets and compartments to hold just about anything. Some of the backpacks meant for cycling are even outfitted with a hydration bladder, which is a an insulated water storage device that has a special straw rigged to it to allow for drinking easily, while on the go.
There are other bags other than the traditional backpack. These other bags usually attach directly to the bike securely so that they do not burden the actual cyclist while on the go. Some of the bags attach to the rear pannier, right behind the seat post, so that items can be kept securely and out of the way. Other bags will most likely attach to the front fork of the bike, but securely enough so that it will not get caught up in the spokes of the tire. Some bags are even made to keep moisture out, that way if a sudden bout of rain came along, the stuff in the bag will be safe and dry. Some bags are built with certain products in mind, such as a laptop or other fragile electronics and manufactured in a way so that those devices would be safe under most circumstances.
Cycling bags can be bought at a variety of places; physical and online. Most major retail stores and sporting goods stores such as Wal-Mart, Target, and Gander Mountain and so on, will carry a selection of cycling bags in their cycling sections. If the retail stores in your local area do not carry any cycling bags or the bags they do carry do not fit your needs then search for a cycling shop in your local area; they will most likely have a cycling bag to suit your precise needs. Probably the best place to find the perfect cycling bag is online, mainly because there is such a wide variety of different vendors online that offer cycling equipment.
