Ed Vintage was born and raised in Evergreen, MT. Growing up in the Big Sky Country beneath a blanket of eternal blue and in the golden cage of piling mountains, he taught himself to play guitar and sing along to the Country, Blues and Hillbilly classics of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Hank Williams and the other legends of the 50’s and 60’s. He also got influenced by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Doors and Bob Dylan, just to name a few of the artists and styles of which fragments can be found in Ed Vintage's work.

One day, the boss got annoyed by the old stuff, dumped Ed’s old record player and replaced it by a radio. Ed didn’t like much what he heard on it – heartless electronic stuff and degenerated mutations of what once used to be called Rock’n’Roll – so he started to write and record his own songs in the old-fashioned, vintage style of the music he loved.
