Ucontrol Australia supplier of innovative signal converter solutions are pleased to announce the launch of their 2 new product groups within their signal conditioner ranges.  They are a pioneering in head transmitter using new wireless programming technology & AC/DC current transformers available with Modbus serial communications.

The range of in head temperature transmitters are the 2000.35.10/11 series.  There are two versions available at this stage; a RTD version which accepts 2, 3 or 4 wire PT100, NI100 & PT1000 sensor inputs, the second is a universal input, galavanically isolated transmitter which accepts thermocouple input type, K, J, R, S, T, N, RTD, mV, V & resistance. Both signal converters in the 2000.35.10 range provide a 4-20mA output which requires loop power of 6.5 to 30VDC.

The unique feature of these pioneering signal converters is the method of programming, utilizing RFID (NFC) technology (wireless up to 4 cm) which allows rapid set up without galvanic insulation problems.  A standard low cost PC programmer is available.

NFC technology is available on most modern smart phones and an Android app has been developed so the 2000.35 signal converter can be conveniently set up with a standard smart-phone too.
The other main features of this device are high accuracy, 16 bit conversion and possibility to rescale the output 4-20 mA compared to temperature input value.

Temperature -40+85 °C, humidity 30..90 uR%

The second range of new products also within signal conditioners, are AC & DC TRMS current transformers using hall effect technology to provide contactless measurement with unrivalled accuracy at affordable costs.

Two versions are available for up to 25A or 50A ranges adjustable by on board dipswitch.  The signal converter 2000.25.013 is a standard 4-20mA loop powered device, the second signal converter 2000.25.014 covers the same input voltages and currents but it requires 12-35VDC and will provide a 0-10VDC output and Modbus RTU serial communications.
