What is a Downline Builder?
A downline builder is a special type of website that acts as a supplement to your advertising efforts, marketing efforts, lead building, and business building.
The way a downline builder works is actually very simple. A person is presented with a list of programs to join. Upon joining each program, they find their affiliate link and add it to a form. When they save that form, all the programs in the downline builder now have their own affiliate id's.
When they refer others to the downline builder, those people end up signing up to each of the listed programs under the person who referred to the builder.
Most downline builders are smaller features of other programs. For example its very common for traffic exchanges and safelists to have downline builders inside their members area. Typically in these types of downline builders are filled with programs that relate to their membership site.
So for example in a traffic exchange downline builder you will frequently find other traffic exchanges. Equally is true of safelist bownline builders - you will find other safelists in their downline.

When it comes to building a business this means the downline builders are vastly building untargeted downlines in other programs - and whats worse is that most people who fill out these downline builders, never upgrade in the sites they join anyways, basically making the people who join you in other programs dead leads.
