More often than not it has been observed that the affected people refrain from seeking help even when they have a very good idea about the fact that they are actually suffering behaviorally degenerative disorder. Near and dear ones, who usually bear the brunt of domestic violence that is an outcome of irrational display rage, are seen incapable to convince the concerned to seek relief through therapy. There are also times when family members believe that this is a passing phase and the affected would come back to his / her senses sooner than they think. This never happens though.
