The Nokia Lumia 1320 plays second fiddle to the more expensive Lumia 1520 phablet, offering a 6″ display but a lower feature set.. and it cost less than half the price of the 1520 too.
On the front is a 6″ 720 x 1280 pixel panel and a 0.3 megapixel video calling camera, on the back is a 5 megapixel camera with a flash and full HD video capture. Inside is a 1.7GHz dual-core CPU with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage plus a microSD slot and there is 7GB of online cloud storage.
The is an LTE capable device with all the usual smartphone features plus an FM radio. The operating system is Windows Phone 8 plus a whole set of enhancement from Nokia, and overall the handset may not be the powerhouse of the Lumia 1520 but it is still a capable device.
The Lumia 1320 will be available in orange, black, white and yellow colours, measures 164 x 86 x 9.8mm and weighs 220 grams. Inside is a 3400 mAh battery.
Priced at $339 before tax and subsidy (equating to a retail price of around €300 or £250) the Lumia 1320 will ship first to China, Vietnam and other Asian markets in early 2014 with India and European markets to follow.
