How you can get long lasting customers
Tip on Getting Lasting Customers
Now let me start off by saying this - "people who read buy stuff." I know this isn't earth shattering but this is for those who try to do less writing as possible.
This from my experience and from the experience of great business people around me. So this is what I personally know and willing to share.
When you go to the store and buy something you had no attention of buying chances are you read it...well, that is how you have to market at some point.
Businesses around the world spend billions to companies for the words they use, why? Because buyers read! If that is the case what are you writing?
I know we are in a video craze but lets examine video marketing. First of all if you don't use your voice or some human voice you're killing the odds of success. Next if you don't use words then the marketing part is over. There are rare occasions that things will work.
Crazy things in video will get you views but once the crazy stops you're a flash...an after thought. The best thing would be to capitalize off someone else video, implement it in your own...talk about that another time.
The Vision of Your Words
OK, when I'm writing to make money off of say an affiliate product, I typically know who I'm writing to...I find around 100 people on Facebook that fit the description and I separate them in 5 groups of the richest to poorest then where they live throughout the country(s) or whatever the affiliate approves.
I look at as much as possible on what makes them tick, words they use and feelings they have...the deep I can get the better my sales are usually. The fact is the sales in most cases last for years without touching it again.
So in this example my vision is of a man or woman who makes between $75,000-125,000 a year. My mindset of the article is that I'm waking them up to start their day.
My headline is like their alarm clock that they can't ignore and may not be happy with but they click it to shut it off (to see what is going on).
My first paragraph is like the warm 12 head massaging shower that they don't want to leave from...
My second paragraph is the perfectly blended coffee that brings that final boost of energy into their tired body.
The third paragraph puts them in the car doing 25 mph then brings them to a stop sign. This stop sign is where I first promote my offer. But I do it rather softly so that they will bypass it. I just want them to see it in case time is an issue.
Paragraphs 4-6 takes them from residential 25 mph to 70 mph on the freeway back down on the off ramp to the next hard stop sign. Is where I tell them see easy their day has been so far this product can have them expecting days like this.
Now if that hasn't convinced them then comes my story telling...I like to tell stories of my life it makes things a lot easier but in this case I tell one of all the information I gathered about them. I put my perspective in and gently massage the product in too...
This has people overwhelmingly writing me to mainly say it is as though I looked into their soul. This often leads to a slight coaching session that for this income range I would charge like $300 a year. It would basically come in inspirational eBooks.
While others charge $5k for the same thing lumping everyone in the same pot...I treat this group different and they see it as I'm always talking to them directly.
I can't tell you how many tearful messages I have gotten from people thanking me for helping them improve their lives. I tell them that they did it but it goes on deaf ears.
I don't just write a random sales page when I'm serious...I make love to it! Whether the potential customer buys through the affiliate link or not...whether they ask me for coaching or not...if they buy nothing ever two things generally happen if they read the story:
1. I have helped them learn something about themselves
2. They are so inspired that they keep coming back to my site improving my alexa ratings if not the PR.
