Vacations in Ever Popular Caribbean Destinations
Imagine if you could package the bluest of
beautiful blue oceans, luke warm, calm waters and super fine white sand beaches…
your package will be what most of the Caribbean islands are. Having lived there
for two years, I can absolutely assure you, it’s the best place for a superb
holiday.
Honeymooners, retirees and families all fit into any of the many good to great
and even fabulous hotels and resorts you will find. Fit for a king is a term
that comes to mind when I think of Jumby Bay, situated on a separate island, a
few minutes away from the main Antiguan coastline and is built a few hundred
yards away from a pad belonging to Oprah… yes, that Oprah!
It is also a great area to vacation with your family and there are activities
meant to have nonstop fun, like the clay pigeon shooting range, built to a
standard as high as you could not expect and there’s the tree top zip slide,
with exhilarating and fun moments where you may even scream to your hearts delight,
to floating on that beautiful ocean in a sparkling white catamaran, sipping a
cold one, whether that cold one is a cola, beer, wine or bubbly… it’ll taste
better than you ever thought before.
Your most difficult task will be to decide which island and hotel to visit.
Antigua’s version of Sandal’s is featured in many of their adverts, as it is
sooo beautiful, built on an incredible beach, home to luxury comforts galore,
more food than you could imagine, a spa and many other facilities.
Our site will definitely show you a wide variety and with almost all of the
writing done after personal experience, having seen the actual rooms, met the
staff and like I said, having had it as a home. The logical thing to also do is
to have a look at the opinions left at trip advisor, which is certainly a gauge
of what you could expect.
Besides the Bahamas, the closest to the US
of all the Caribbean islands, a popular one is called The Turks & Caicos
Island, best known for their beautiful beaches and underwater adventures, large
coral reefs, if you’re into diving and snorkeling.
The US island of St. John in the Virgin Islands is a very popular destination,
as you need no passport, if you’re a US citizen. One of the popular destinations
of St John is Trunk Bay, which is owned and protected by the US National Park
Service. Besides traditional beachfront activities, Trunk Bay is also well
known for snorkeling tours, where trained, underwater guides and markers make
the Turk Bay snorkeling adventure one of the best in the world.
In Jamaica we say “no wonder hearts beat faster in Jamaica” as this is so true in
many ways. Home to wonderful beaches, including Seven Mile Beach, the many
beach resorts are so beautiful it is often hard to describe. Also well known for
their music and fun offshore activities, resorts where clothing is optional and
rum runs almost freely… Few vacationers will leave Jamaica unsatisfied.
The Caribbean islands are mostly dependent on tourists for the bulk of their
economies and thank goodness, millions of people flock to the Caribbean for
their vacations and that includes winter or summer, as there is almost no
difference. Have you had a chance to visit
the Caribbean yet? Let’s encourage you to do so…. You’re sure to love it!
