Making Money - How Desperation leads to Perspiration
Making Money - How Desperate are you?
Now when you’re trying to make money there is usually a reason you want to do so. It could be need, greed or just a desire to do so.
The first two reasons will cause a definite perspiration. The last one may or may not create energy. When you’re in motion mentally or physically things get done negatively or in a positive way.
If you look at things the right way you will learn from even when you lose. Providing that you will fall more times than not you need to learn and get stronger from temporary failures.
A Short Story:
I use to jog around an abandon track field five miles every other day about 20 years ago. Two old men would bring their lawn chairs and watch me go at it as they drink their beers.
Five miles turned into 10-12 a day. I was hooked. Once every other week I would jog to max out at around 18 miles.
After some time doing this I started to zone out like a meditative state. In doing this I accidently ran 33 miles! I stop counting after 28 and the old men stopped me out of fear.
I had a few friends that were deadbeats at best but I was doing my part to help them do better. One of them was the pits to all my positive energy.
They pulled up that day when the old men and I were celebrating to ask for gas money. I felt so good that I gave them $100 without even thinking…wouldn’t you know it Mr. Negative dude said “that ain’t nothing I do that, easily!”
I had enough so I yelled at him which ended in a bet that turned out to be worth $12,000. My cash or his car!
Now keep in mind he gets tired after one pickup game of basketball and he smoked cigarettes like a chimney. So no way can he do something that took me awhile to do. Can he?
I saw myself selling his car for a cool $15,000 and rubbing it in his face daily. As he ran five miles I laughed any minute he will fall.
Then 12 miles….
…Then 18
When he got to 25 miles I ran alongside of him to convince him to stop now take $1,000 and keep the car. I then heard him whisper out of breathe “I desperately need that money for a better life.”
He passed out at the finish line when he did it. I lost every dime I had saved. He did move into a better area but three months afterward he overdosed.
I remember following the one sweat drop that rolled off his cheek that day as he spoke those words. I also remember his final downfall by not using the money correctly.
60% of all who read this is smarter and more ready to make money than I am but only 1% can muster the perspiration that I do daily!
That’s how I make money.
