How news gets manipulated in the US

In a recent AP US-News channel report, which discussed the public view of Mr. Snowden as derived by a Washington Post-ABC news poll, I noticed some comments quoted by name.

It also included a comment by the US Senate Intelligence Com. Chairperson, Dianne Feinstein.

The active manipulation of news reports by the US Gov. and the criminal disregard for human, privacy & constitutional rights is no longer a secrete to anyone in the US or around the world.

With this issue in mind, I emailed the people named in this report to inquire about their personal ideas and near term planes to take up the opportunity with some of the other outstanding personalities quoted hearin, to question the national preoccupation with terrorism, the constant meddling in and the destabilization of other counties by the US in a more co-ordinated way in an effort to drastically reduce wasteful military and intelligence spending in favour of greater investments in health, education and the development of a harmonious cultural environment among people and nations around the world.

I indicated that I'd be very pleased to receive their comments regarding these questions, and wished them the very best in your professional and personal life.

Ideas to follow up on this and related issues:

I found it quite amazing to learn about this Washington Post-ABC news poll which may in part  serve the US government to measure how effective the public view gets manipulated in the way news is presented by the official media  and simply located the email addresses of the following individuals quoted in this news report online to ask them about their intentions to possibly counter act in a co-ordinated way the active manipulation of news reporting by the official media through the US Gov. and more fully expose the criminal disregard for human, privacy & constitutional rights:

Prof. William Weaver, U of Texas, El Paso / wweaver@nswbc.org
Prof. Gerald R. Shuster, U of Pittsburgh / ges3@pitt.edu
Eric Dezenhall, Head of crisis magmt, Washington / contactDC@dezenhall.com
David K. Colapinto, Gen. counsel - National Whistleblowers Centre / mjw@kkc.com
Gene Healy, VP - Cato Institute / ghealy@cato.org

I like to invite you to follow up on the idea of drawing people named in the media into a public online discussion to bring about a greater awareness among all of us about the growing government  abuse.

Staying indifferent or inactive is no longer an option we can afford!
