The Diablo 3 Wizard comes from Diablo II, and its abilities ranging from fire, ice and lighting at their enemies to teleporting past enemies and slowing time through walls. Wizard fuel their spells with arcane power that is a fast regenerating power source.

Wizard in Diablo 3 has 25 different active skills with 5 different runes and 15 passive skills. But you should know that only three passive skills and six active skills can be equipped at a time. There are some restrictions leading to the possibility of literally of various kinds of rune combinations and passive skills. So what you should do to level your diablo 3 account is to know what the best builds are for Wizard class.

In order to make players know more about Diablo 3 Wizard builds, I want to post this guide which is based on my Diablo 3 leveling builds experience. Please kindly note that as PvP will be added into Diablo III down the line, this guide is now not suitable for PvP builds.

Before you jump into builds, the best leveling builds are the best farming builds for you to farm Diablo III items for sale which you need to gain from Diablo III gold. To level up to 60, you should get more access to runes and abilities.

The builds is divided into solo and group play as the leveling and farming are in the same. When you are playing in groups, just sit back at range and you are able to deal damage from a safe place. In order to deal with annoying opponents, one or two more escape abilities are needed for teleporting your enemies who sneak up behind you. Nevertheless, it is no need to load up on defense. In terms of playing solo or lonely, both defensive and offensive skills are necessary as this builds are less offensively oriented.

If you want to insist on solo builds, you can farm tough enemies. Or if you are willing to farm weak enemies, just drop some defense and go with the solo build.

Your main Single-target damage ability in solo play is Ray of Frost. For taping the source pairs with prism, you need to use Tap the Source rune or the Arcane Nova. It is no need to buy d3 gold for it.

For Diamond skin, you should use the Prism rune, which allows you to cast Arcane Orbs at cheap price, especially good for Tap the Source. Then the Diamond Skin can be used as both offensive and defensive skill.

Magic Missile is the basic skill to use for regaining arcane power when it runs out. When your Arcane Power regeneration gets well, you can replace it with the Familiar with the Arcanot rune for more Arcane Power.

Energy Armor can give you a fair amount of defense as it starts with Pinpoint Barrier and used for hard game modes.

At last, you have more choice of your skills, such as Familiar for the raw damage buff, use Wave of Force to act as escape when enemies are crowded around with you or travel fast.
