Putting Obesity to Rest

Millions of Americans suffer from obesity and have tried so many methods to lose the weight, but have continuously failed.  Yo-yo dieting and trying every weight loss technique only to fail is what I had experienced personally and decided to take action when my blood pressure remained in the 170s over 100s+.  I had to do something that would work because my physician looked me in the eye and told me that I would not live to see my children grow up if I continued on the path I was on.

August 30, 2012 became my new birthday.  I had the lap band procedure and I have not looked back.  Absolutely no regrets.  In 7 months, I've lost over 76 pounds.  I'm now able to do things I could not do before the weight loss such as walk up a flight of stairs or simply getting out of bed without breathing hard.  I am now working out with high intensity interval training 6 days a week.  I have a new life and most importantly, my blood pressure is now in the 120s over 70s.
