Calculating Your Combat Level
To calculate prayer level, it is divided to two and around the number down. For instance, if your prayer level is 53, then divide it by two, and it gives you 26.5. As you need to round this down, you can just gain 23. As for defense and hit points, you should divide all lots by 4. If your defense level is 60, your prayer level is 53, and hit point level is 60, the result is 43.25. These are your base combat level.
Now add your Attack and Strength levels to one another and times them by 0.325. Add this to the base combat level. You will now have your melee combat level.
If your Magic or Range level is not much higher than your Strength and attack levels, there is only real need to carry on now. Use the highest level from your Magic and Range levels.
Divide the Range level by two and then round down. Add your Range level to this and you are given a result.
