I'm Literally A New Person

Today I experienced something that totally made my day.  It is not secret that I had the lap band procedure six months ago and I've lost over 70 pounds.  Today, one of my co-workers came over to ask me some questions about the procedure and I showed her a side-by-side comparison of my before and now picture.  She almost fainted right there in my office because she couldn't believe that was really me on the before picture.

She proceeded to tell me about her concern for her sibling who is overweight and wanted to show my results to her sibling.  I told her sure and she proceeded to email my pictures to all of her siblings.

About two hours later, I get a phone call from my co-worker saying that one of her sisters called her back and said that my pictures must be from a billboard because that was not the same person.  She was in shock at the results I've had.  She proceeded to continue to repeat that this is not the same person, it couldn't be.  I proceeded to tell her that that was truly me and I have more before pictures to show how unhappy, unhealthy, and depressed I was before I had the procedure.

This was the first time I've ever had someone tell me that the person on my own picture was not me.

I'm literally a new person.
