MAN OF UNQUESTIONABLE INTEGRITY !
MAN OF UNQUESTIONABLE INTEGRITY
[Matthew 7]
Why are you so surprised when someone doubts your Christianity?
Whether they be friends, acquaintances, fellow employees, or even members of the body of Christ Jesus, it will happen. Many times in your spiritual walk you will encounter doubters walking in the flesh.
These doubters are constantly distracted by the riches, fame, power and glory of the world. They have not fully embraced the complete forgiveness and holiness of God’s Grace.
Therefore to them, you or anyone else cannot be a ‘true’ Christian. There has to be some fault, some weakness, some hidden secret, some ugliness, some meaness, some unknown sin, something bad about you. Your integrity is always questionable to them.
It doesn’t matter if you are a mayor, a janitor, a banker, a teacher, a baker, a preacher, or even …. a President of a country. These doubters are constantly "accusing" .… because they have been deceived by the "great accuser".
Once these doubters and accusers, have truly experienced the love and the forgiveness of God, they will be able to forgive others.… and most importantly, they will be able to forgive themselves.
Accepting and forgiving one another as sinners forgiven by the grace of God and washed pure and clean, allows us to truly love one another. As we read Matthew 7, we are reminded that none of us can do anything without abiding in Jesus Christ. We also learn that the world rejected Jesus, so the world will also reject you and all other Christians.
We’ve been washed pure by Jesus Christ’s blood, and Him crucified! As Christians, we know that there has only been one person, one ….. ‘Man of Unquestionable Integrity’, that lived and walked this earth. His name is Jesus Christ. He is our Lord and Savior. Jesus alone is our Judge. Without Him, we can do nothing.
So don’t be surprised when they doubt your integrity. They doubted Jesus Christ. They questioned His integrity. His hometown friends and family reminded Him, … ‘You are just the son of Joseph and Mary’.
No, they did not truly know Jesus, the Christ! But praise be to God Almighty… you and I do know Jesus, … the Christ. You and I have confessed our sins and declared with our own mouths and spoken with our own words, that we believe and now know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for all of our sins.
God forgives our sins and throws them into the sea of forgetfulness. I truly hope that you understand that "once we were not a people… but now we are a people". We belong to Jesus Christ … Unquestionably!
