Scrutinize and Analyze

Network Marketing - MLM - Direct Sales - Show me the $$

My Previous Success is a Strong Indicator of my Future Success.

You see, I have always been careful to very closely scrutinize and analyze any network marketing program before I personally become involved in it. And you should know just some of the things that I look for before I say "yes, count me in":

*    A company that has been around or established. Or, if it's a new company, it's owners are well established internet marketers (internet marketing experience is crucial)

 *   The company must have it's own merchant account, no eGold, no PayPal, no third party processing... It's all about credibility. If the company cannot get it's own merchant account, it's likely to have financial trouble in the future.

*    An excellent product. This is vital. If the product won't sell by itself, it's destined to fail in an attempt to sell it in network marketing channels alone.

*   A fair and lucrative compensation plan. This get's tricky. There are several ways to build a comp plan that make sense. The number one element that I look for is a comp plan that will allow anyone to make enough money when that first person they sign up pays to justify the cost of advertising to get that person who signs up. In other words, the upfront money must support all advertising so that everyone down-stream, everyone who joins can go in to the marketplace, buy all different kinds of advertising with the reasonable expectation that the first commission made on everyone who signs up will cover the cost of obtaining that person. I'm emphatic about this.

The above is by all means not everything that I look for, but it's certainly the highlights. And, if a company makes it past these stages then I continue to look further before I make the final decision to join.
