There are many things you will want to avoid doing if you ever want to get ahead in life especially internet marketing but these are a few of the worst ones beginners seemed to get sucked into.

Now this may sound a contradiction in terms but Traffic Exchanges can actually waste your time if you don’t use them correctly but how can this be true? Lets take a well known system designed to get you to join as many Traffic Exchanges as is humanly possible:

Now although this may sound like a good idea it really is unnecessary to get what your are trying to promote across coupled with the sidetracking used in the form of badges as a method of keeping you coming back for more but the real truth is in reality you are wasting precious promotion time even dealing with it.

Now with the introduction of vault keys increasing with more vaults and more keys you have to ask yourself: Is this really worth my time?

Here is the simplest form of marketing and the one used today by the many successful marketers out there. 1 Site, 1 Traffic Exchange and 1 Routine (this would apply to Traffic Exchange Marketing)

Of course the Traffic Exchange you choose can be the most important decision you make because if you decided to choose the first one you see and later find out that as far as Traffic Exchanges go this was a weak one then already you’ve lost before you even begin.

You will notice that even though CTP has been set in a bold font when you hover over it you find that there is no link to the site. Now normally you will find sites trying to tell you something is wrong although they still have a link to the Opportunity.

This is called the reverse psychology marketing method and is used to basically get members to join purely out of curiosity but as you can see here that method is not being employed in this post.

If you are just starting out then here is the recommended way to market your opportunity but before i tell you this please remember that it is not easy to become a successful marketer unless you are willing to work toward your success:

1. Find a fast, reliable, member loaded traffic exchange. (EasyHits4U, Sweeva, etc. Big names)

2. Build a simple 1 page Splash and design so the viewer has around 5-10 seconds to get the full idea as to what you are trying to tell them as this is the average time a page is viewed through a Traffic Exchange (Try to make a simple page unique to you)

3. Add your page to the chosen Traffic Exchange

4. Decide how long you want to promote this page per day

5. Start Surfing then within the first week look at your statistics and see when the peak time was for your page and then pause your site while you build up credit.

6. Set your page to active during the peak time so any credits you have accumulated beforehand are used at that time giving you the maximum visibility.

7. After the peak time has run then pause again and accumulate credits then repeat the process.

One you have been doing this within a few weeks you will begin to see real results. Also remember to give your page a fresh look at least once every month.

In the case of The Steps To Earn Money you are free to use the landing page for your promotion but as with every other offer, a landing page with no call to uniqueness on your part results in a visitor coming to the conclusion that the person promoting really has not made an effort to sell the opportunity to them.
