How to Protect Plants When Relocating

Plants and flowers are among the most fragile and delicate possessions you can find in a house, although some people would rather think of them as pets. This is true because they are actually a living individual that needs taking care of even if that care is nothing more than watering. However they are really sensitive to to outside factors like air temperature.

This is why when wanting to move plants from one location to another, stuffing them all in a dark, pointed place just won't do. There are other factors, besides temperature, that can seriously damage or harm a plant is such a way that it would become useless to its owner and itself. Then everything done just becomes useless.

You might think that if you want your plants transported, why not put them inside the man with van in London vehicle. Wrong answer, that would most likely, if not for sure, damage them all. You forget what kind of chaos exists inside the van's tank space. Plants can not be sealed airtight, can not be packaged, can not be covered with anything, can not even put laying down. They need to breathe and they need light. Otherwise they would dry out.

Still we haven't mentioned the most detrimental of the factors – the vibrations in the moving vehicle. Because transporting plants by hand is simply not an option, another way must be found and the first thing people think of is using something on wheels. OK, a car is an acceptable choice, but the van space is just too uncontrollable to be trusted. Because that big vehicle has a heavy load, right next to where the plants would probably be put, heavy vibrations are unavoidable. They alone can tear apart a plant.

I wouldn't imagine any London man and van to be equipped in such a way that it has a separate section for plants, animals or anything just a little bit too sensitive. Maybe today people have found a way to include this in the services as well, like that would surprise me. Taking space from the tank and repurposing it for other uses sound unethical for a removal company.

Whatever the case may be, you need to remember that plants and flowers are delicate and the slightest bruise is enough to be the end of them. If you are planing a big move and need everything back from the old house, then it's wise to arrange a separate way of transport, preferably using a car. That way you will pay a little more for having your new home a little more fresh.
