Fear, you may already know, is one of the most infamous feelings we now have as people. It's one of the greatest (if not the largest) deterrents to our success. Yet regardless of the negative perception we may have about fear, it also has its own little good side. Fear prevents us from getting hurt, both physically and emotionally. The “little” fear inherent within us is really good for us. We want that “little” quantity of fear. It prevents us from getting too aggressive.
This is also true with panic. A “little” panic can serve as a form of defense. But being engulfed with excessive panic may hinder you against performing your normal activities and could deter you to take action especially on not-so-common activities.
However if you have only one choice to facing a panic attack, like it or otherwise, you have to find the right approach to contain such attack and suppress this discomforting feeling.
Anxiety attacks are actually a product from the mind, an imagination of the perceived threat or danger that may be controlled. The truth is, such danger doesn't exist. The worst scenario that you could perceive under these circumstances aren't life-threatening.
