Internet Marketing=Hiding Behind The Computer

So you’re working and building your Online Business. Don’t let the online part be a limitation when it comes to networking. Sure you are Marketing on the Internet, however, remember the keyword is Marketing. This means that the people that you reach out to online do have faces and names and they also come from behind the computer. It’s okay to reach out to people that you encounter on a daily basis. Some people want to hide behind their computers and build business strictly online. There is nothing wrong with meeting and reaching out to people online but just think what would happen if you actually talked to people in person about your opportunity!  Next time you see Janice at the school while dropping your kids off, why not chat her up and give her a quick pitch about what you do online. Carry business cards with you so that you may pass them along to people that may be pressed for time. You don’t have to hound people or even stalk them. These could be people that you see daily and even briefly chat with about your kids, the weather or whatever topic of conversation may come up, small talk. Make that small talk be about your business sometimes! If people tell you that they are not interested, give them your card and ask them to suggest someone that may be interested or just simply ask them to pass along your information. These are a few simple tips to help you engage people outside of the Internet.
