(With Respect). A Personal Letter To My Friends And Colleagues
Dear Friends, Associates
& Business Members,
This letter is something I
feel needs to be written as I have been very inactive through the past month. I
feel compelled to explain myself so anyone who may have some questions will
have a better understanding as to why I am where I am at today.
Most of my friends know my
story as to how I developed Exceptional Content Publishing to begin with.
The way it works goes
something like this:
Back in 2009 I went through a
layoff. I had a very stressful job and a lot of responsibility. I was a
Receiving/Training Manager working for a Clothing Factory Outlet who shall
remain un-named. I was responsible for the setup of new stores and traveled all
over the North Eastern United States. This was a big position and in many cases
I was responsible for up to 250 associates at a time.
When I lost this job I was
unemployed for about two years and now work two part time jobs making much less
money than I have done in the past. It’s been a long hard road trying to
salvage equity and re-build a stable financial life. Anyone who has gone
through changes like this will understand how difficult and stressful this can
be and how it can take its toll on your physical and mental state.
Out of all this I built
Exceptional Content Publishing as a way to supplement income. The site was
doing well for awhile and I truly tried to create value for the members who
have joined but like most life situations many are looking for the freebies.
Trying to build a membership business that offers content like ECP is not easy
work so I decided to take on partners to help with the work load but that did
not pan out as everyone has their dream and own agenda. This situation was not
the answer and quickly dissolved.
I still have my dream to
become a successful entrepreneur and become financially stable through working
a business that is internet based but I have lost the stamina and no longer
have the fight in me to continue. The site (Exceptional Content Publishing)
will stay up as long as I am able but with limited updates. For those who are
paid members I am comfortable with the fact that you have received your money’s
worth. I really hope you can understand why I am doing this.
I am still active online but
at a limited capacity. I have some projects that I am working on and one of
them is very personal to me. It’s called “The Virtuous Collection Through The
Eyes Of A Sober Mind”. This website is based on my life through story, poetry
and music. I was actually going to release this as a book but decided to create
a website instead.
On this website I have
Adsense and a donation button so I can hopefully gain a small amount of income
to help maintain the site. I really hope that those who have been through
addiction and life changing events will find some comfort in the fact that
others like me have survived and are gaining strength everyday. I only ask that
if you do see the true value in what I write that you use the tools there and
help spread the word and help me keep The Virtuous Collection alive.
I am also working on a new
co-op Idea for catering to local brick and mortar business. With today’s
technology like social media, smart phones and internet popularity in general,
there are many who just don’t have a clue as to how to populate there niche. I
am working on a service to cater to them and basically work for them through
web development and helping to populate and target the local clientele.
This will take some doing as
I need to put a team of qualified and experienced people together and turn this
into a well established business. Please keep this in mind as there will be
more on this and an opportunity for qualified persons.
I want to thank you for
taking the time to read this as it has been a long hard road these last 3 years
and I am not the type of person who can live with writing off my friends and
abandoning all my contacts and clients. For now I am semi inactive but as soon
as I can overcome personal issues that are really unavoidable, this is the best
I can do.
Yours truly,
Don Dousharm
