Prayer
that springs from the heart,
without words or
no formula,
is often the best ... but the formulas of prayer
will always be needed.

There are many who express
what we feel
and help us
to enter into prayer.

We selected
and present you
more prayers
grouped by theme

Lord, I always run after something ... When I stopped, breathless, I sometimes think. At that moment I stopped and it is for you say THANKS! Oh! I could just tell you thanks for everything, and you'd understand. But I want to be more explicit.

I say THANK YOU ... for my body that works wonders for my tongue untied if, for my legs so alert, so docile to my hands, my eyes open to everything, to my ears that perceive everything to my nostrils that detect everything, for my heart throbbing with what is beautiful, for my soul that vibrates well, for my intellect seeking the true ... for all this, I say THANK YOU.

Many times I have cried to you because ... I wanted my body more beautiful, I wanted my heart bigger, I wanted my love, more noble, I wanted my mind more lucid.
Today I say THANK YOU and I am silent, thinking of all those my age who have diminished faculties and whose use is restricted. I think of those who never ... not hear the chirping of the bird, will see the sun rise, will not receive the perfume of a flower, can not find the word THANK after their lips, can not palpate an object, can not run after a butterfly .

I have done nothing more than the other to enjoy my sense and yet you made me the free gift of the richness that I am. If everyone in the world like a little thought to this, there would be a mad rush to you, Lord, to tell you THANK YOU!
For those who do not take the time to tell you, I say THANKS to the wonders that we are

Lord, you've retired to the desert
to discern the paths that were available to you,
You chose to live not as a God
free of human frailties,
but as a man among men.
We, too, sometimes we find ourselves in the desert.
Everything seems so hard, so arid, around us and in us.
So my projects seem trivial human
and my certainties of yesterday I spun between the fingers like sable.Seigneur, when you went through the desert,
There you've traced how risky paths.
These paths have led you to the Cross
but they open us to Hope, Freedom, Love.
