True, there may be some PTC sites that don't pay. Also true is that it may take a while before you earn your first buck if you do not have many referrlas. But there are also those that have been around for years and have ten thousands of members. An example is ClixSense.

I joined it a year ago and really did not do much with it because I felt my time is too valuable to spend on clicking ads for cents or less. Recently I took a closer look on what they offer. I reactivated my dormant account, not so much for to earn from clicking but to advertise myself; it is really cheap in comparison with most TEs and paid solo services. Options are text advertising, banner advertising or buy a link in the click grid where people can win up to 5 dollar.

I just started this and I am curious about the results. I think programs that advertise traffic and/or earning opportunities will convert best. I will post my findings at a later date. I am curious about the experiences from others with this program. So comment if you are.

Another thing I discovered is the Incentria and Clicksia not only have PTC but also a traffic exchange. At this point I have no idea how many people are surfing these exchanges and if they are the same crowd as on regular traffic exchanges or another one. I am going to surf those for while and see if I get get some results.
If you already tried this I am curious about your experience. So let me know in a comment.
