Beyond The Hype
I've seen it a hundred times and its been my experience that business launch hype always dies down, in the beginning you see
rockets launching, fireworks blazing, everyone's excited and for some businesses that's a good thing but unfortunately for
others, it can be the kiss of death. Below are a few points we may want to take into consideration:
. What is Hype? Hype is nothing more than excitement and expectations of better things to come, all hype dies down eventually
and then you're left with the reality of the situation.
. Unrealistic Expectations: Beyond the hype usually come a ton of unrealistic expectations, take a good look at the real deal
and you'll be able to seperate truth from fiction.
. Honest Information: Normally after a big launch there will pop up a bunch of groups that are disseminating conflicting
information, Make sure you join a group that has the correct information, even some corporate blogs come out with late or
confusing information.
. Facebook Groups: Facebook groups are fine and dandy until you find out that you can get wrong information there as well, I
strongly suggest you join a group concerning your service or business that checks to make sure the information they're giving
out is fresh and double checked.
. Spam-vertising: In all the excitement of the hype you'll find complete newbies spamming the living daylights out of places
you frequent thereby diluting the brand. Try not to be so harsh on them for they know not what they do. The frenzy of the
hype does strange things to the mind, even seasoned online vets can get caught up in the spamming game.
. Beyond The Hype: Once the hype dies down you'll be able to tell who's going to last and who'll just pack it in because of
unrealistic expectations.
For instance, my business was crystal clear when they told us we would be sharing information and
newsletters, obviously some took that as a cue to spam everyone with a pulse, leaving them wondering why they have no sign-
ups, DUHHHHH.
In closing I strongly suggest people calm down and have patience with their corporate offices, if you think launching a huge
business is childs play I suggest you go out and try one yourself, It can drive you insane.
Erase those visions of cash
raining down from heaven, get some product knowledge, stop whining, join a group, get a mentor, copy what the smart people
are doing until you get your own technique, stay positive, never ever complain about the business to your downline and get to
work. I have to take my own advice and trust me, It aint always easy.
