Use Curation For Affiliate Product Blogs
If you are promoting affiliate products, you may want to consider starting a blog that provides helpful content to promote the products and use curation in your blog post. What is blog curation, it's a process where a blogger takes sizzling info from a popular post from a popular blog or website and use it on their own site giving credit back to the original author by linking to that post or article. But the blogger has to sort though the article and cite the best information to share with thier own audience. Huffington Post is a well known site and a great example of content curation. They add their own original content by adding their own thoughts to the information that they used from other sources. This adds value to your own original content.
It can already be difficult to come up with content especially since you're doing it on a daily basis, so using content curation will help you to cut your time in half when creating a blog post. As I said in the beginning, you can use curation for promoting affiliate products on your blog. This is the way to increase readership and build your online business without spending a lot of money on traffic generation.
This is what else content curation can do for your business:
- create more content
- post more often
- helps you to become an authority in your niche
- helps you rank higher for popular keywords
- increase your chances of your post going viral
- helps you build traffic to your site and loyal visitors who will read your blog for years
- people will share your blog post with others
- builds trust with all the search engines because you're linking to high authority websites within your niche
- increases your chance of making money selling affiliate products
I could go on and on about how content curation will boost the sales of affiliate products or even your own ebooks or products because this method of content marketing is very good. But the time to start getting more traffic is now, and you can start by using content curation on a new blog or an existing blog.
It is easy to do and you should not spend more than 45 minutes to an hour on each post. When you get the hang of using content curation, it will be much less time. It sometimes takes me about 15-20 minutes to use it on my blogs.
There is a free version of software you can use to help you find sites with great content you can curate for your blog. Click here for more information.
