First, I wasn't sure what category to choose for my today's article, but I think Society
is the best I could have chosen. And it is global society I am thinking about.
I came across this website by chance while looking for some other stuff and it caught my attention immediately. It is not a business iniciative, it is not something that will make you rich, but it will give you a lot of "feeling good".
What is it about? All you have to do is sign up, choose a book, read it on-line and then press the tab "give a book" and the owner of the site will give the book you have read to a school in America or send it somewhere else - Africa or Asia, for example. These are books for children and you can read it together with your child, with your pupils at school or kindergarten. I think  I should mention that it is a Pearson foundation site.
After you have dome this a similar mail will come to your inbox:

"Thanks so much for reading at We Give Books. You have just verified your book donation. Thank you!  491,762 Books Donated So Far!

We hope you enjoy We Give Books and that—if you haven’t done so already—you’ll consider becoming a We Give Books member. The more you read at We Give Books, the more books we give. And members can get special promotions, advance copies of great new releases, and any time, anywhere access to our growing digital library of great children's books.

So please keep reading. And thank you for your support of We Give Books."

You can connect to them via your facebook account, follow them with you twitter account and always find a book to read and give it as your present to those who are learning to read.

I hope my article will wake up a new reading zest in you.
