Some of you may wonder what makes Team Promote different from anything else. In this article, I will talk about the business model and compare it to some others that are well known.

The Team Promote business model

At Team Promote, you get advertisers who create campaigns. When they activate a campaign, they pay a fee. That money is used for 2 things:
  1. 30% goes to Team Promote.
  2. 70% becomes a cash reward to share between promoters who get clicks on the advertiser's order ( or join ) button on the landing page.
It doesn't matter if there are sales or not. The promoters who get clicks will get paid. If it happens that the campaign is about a product or service that offers a commission, that will be more money for the promoters who get the sales.

What the advertiser gets is motivated promoters on his list, their resources, i.e. where they advertise, also backlinks. Also, there's a good chance some or a lot of the ads posted by promoters will be highly targeted. Which increases the chances of conversions.

The Google Adwords-Adsense business model

Everybody and their mother know how this business model works, so I will just compare it to Team Promote.

If you are an advertiser, you trust that your ad will be placed on targeted sites. You have no control over the price per click, so you have no idea how many clicks there will be before your budget is spent.

If you put AdSense ads on your site, it's up to you to get traffic, and you hope that people will click on the ad. The price you get per click is not much in most cases.

The Paid To Click ( PTC ) business model

An advertiser will buy packages of clicks for their ads. The clicks are guaranteed, but these are clicks to see the landing page, not clicks on the order button, same ad AdSense, as a matter of fact. You also get clicks from people not members of the PTC site. These are free.

Members of PTC sites will click on your ads to get paid fractions of cents. Like Team Promote, some of the advertiser's money go to the site owner, the rest goes to the members clicking the ads.

On most PTC sites, you can choose that your ad be seen by paid members. This helps conversions, since paid members are buyers. What is the percentage of paid members on PTC sites? I have no idea.

How targeted is advertising on PTC sites? Well, you have the option of geotargeting, just like Team Promote and Adwords. But on PTC sites, members see the same ads repeatedly, and they will click to get the money, they won't notice an ad they have seen dozens of times.

Other business models

There are other places where you can advertise:
  • Traffic Exchanges (TEs)
  • Safelists
  • Text Ad Exchanges (TAEs)
  • Social Networks
  • Other PPC networks
  • Classified ads
In all these cases, you don't get paid for clicking on ads. Granted, you get credits or points on the 1st three. Some safelists and TAEs pay to click on some types of ads, but it's the PTC model applied to their sites.

Conclusion

I hope you start to realize how different and exciting Team Promote is, both for advertisers and promoters. There are clear advantages to be a part of it, compared to anything else out there.
