Message Restriction for Free Members

Have you noticed free members here can only send or reply to 3 messages a day? I know they are trying to force us to upgrade, but I think it might have the opposite effect and drive people away if we can't find a way around that restriction. Hopefully they get enough pressure that they change it. After all, what is a Social Network if you can't freely communicate with your friends?

What I decided to do is to make it quite clear on my profile that I have Skype and I keep it on all the time. Now anyone who also has a free account there, can message me even when I'm not online and we can communicate freely with no restrictions. If I get harassed as a result, it's a simple matter to block them. The messages are tied to an individual contact, so it keeps them organized for a year and works much better than any other online communication method I know of.

A microphone is not necessary, I mostly just use text chat. I can even multi-task with several friends at once, try that with ApSense messaging.
