Wow, I was going through my data base and looking up sites to delete those that are no longer in existence. Lo and behold, as I looked for my Yuwie site, I got that weird server language. I popped to a couple of rooms I'm in and asked if anyone was a member of Yuwie. I got a couple of responses, both said they hadn't been to their sites a bit. I was at mine in May of 2010.
One of my friends also attempted to sign-in. Then she posted a CNET article. The article confirms what I had suspected for a long time, Yuwie was a pyramid site. They promised earnings that you could never achieve unless you had thousands of downline.
I used Yuwie to show my graphics ability and stored some unique graphics on it. NOPE, did not save, save, save. So they are gone now.
What does this say? Number one if you have something you want to keep, save, save, save. Second, I knew I could never reach payout so I simply stayed a member, I had some friends there. I'm sure that any of them are in contact with newer connections like "skype" or current emails.
Here is the link for the article.
