PayBox reveals its true motive.

I'm sure many of you have seen the PayBox.me logo frequently in the past few months.  Their blog tells us that they are in the process of creating a new and better online payment system but there is nothing to see yet. It is still only a concept.

Their inventive marketing strategy has been to put  $20 into every new users account and as long as you return to the blog every 48 hours your balance increases.  As I write this my balance is $268.00.  For every referral I gather in I get another $10.00.

Sounds good but it is unclear if I will ever actually see any this money.

Today - Jan 18,2011 PayBox issued a statement that reveals more about their true intention with their clever marketing plan.

They are looking to create an "Army of 10,000" from the current 300,000 (like me) who have registered and logged in regularly to see their ever increasing account balance.

In a nutshell here is the pitch.
  • To be one of the "Army of 10,000" and earn real money promoting PayBox.me you need to first be trained as an internet marketer.
  • PayBox shows a link to the training program - that link brings us to Maverick Money Makers. - a ClickBank product
  • Join Maverick Money Makers - cost $97.00 per month!
  • Once joined and trained become an official PayBox affilate/marketer.
Clearly the PayBox people are expecting many (the estimate is 4%) of the 300,000 registered members to opt-in to the training program.  That's about 12,000 members paying on average $400 each.  Approximately half of that will end up going to the PayBox people in ClickBank commissions - $250,000.

A clever plan and I'm sure many will enroll in the Maverick Money Makers program.

My advice - stay away!
