I miss my dog.....
Unconditional love.....I had the joy and pleasure of it from October 2001 until this past Thanksgiving weekend which is when I lost the other best love of my life, (lost my husband, Jer in 02 :-( )....my sweet Cairn terrier, Scooby Boo Radley. If you have a dog or a cat or a snake or whatever makes you smile, you understand how I feel.
No matter what my mood was, Boo was always there with a smile for me......
Boo was over one year old when we went to meet him, and he decided that we were his people at first sniff. He spent lots of time in the parlor of our bed & breakfast inn greeting new friends, and he made a great impression on everyone. I had to close the inn after I lost my husband, and I stared a new chapter of life without him....and Boo was one of the most very loyal and sustaining factors in my life. If I was having a terrible day (and I had many) Boo was by my side quietly loving me and being supportive. Boo was at my side and with me most of my life until this past Thanksgiving weekend........I miss him terribly and wish he was still sleeping next to me and smiling at me everyday.
Boo was not the first dog I've had the pleasure of sharing my life with but he was the last. I've always had at least one pet to care for and love--being without one now is a very strange moment for me.
