Promote your Blog with these Facebook Resources

I recently published an article about Blogging for Internet Marketers and also paid some attention to how you can use Facebook resources to promote your blog.

Facebook offers free and targeted opportunities for blog promotion and their potential should be exploited to the fullest.

Here are a few things that you could do on Facebook:
  1. Create a Fan Page for your blog. As an example, I have a Facebook Fan Page by the name of Internet Marketing Blogs. Here I link to my blog and my blog updates are automatically posted to the Page. Other internet marketers also link to their blogs and blog posts from here and as such we've created an interactive Page for internet marketing bloggers. I am linking to Internet Marketing Blogs below if you'd like to have a look and even join the Page if you like!
  2. Create a Facebook Group on a subject related to your blog. Below is a link to the group Fellow Internet Marketers serving as an example of how you can use the Facebook group feature to create even more visibility and interest in your blog.
  3. Add the Facebook application Networkedblogs to your Facebook profile. Here's what Networkedblogs looks like and how it works
I know most internet marketers would be well aware of these features, but do they use it? Oftentimes, one is aware of features, but unsure about the benefits for one's own purposes and business growth, wondering whether the use of such features and apps would be worth one's time and effort. I can honestly report that the implementation of the resources as indicated above has resulted in Facebook being one of the top sites for referring visitors to and creating interest in my blog
