It's just human nature

I'm sure you've heard the stories about the student that outgrows the teacher and become great. If only I could be that student.

What about those newbies that come online, timid like a doe needing someone to hold their hand and show them the way. You are a business person but you also have a heart so you help out. You "show them the ropes". You invest three or fours days of your time showing them how to register a domain, how to set up a blog, which scams to stay away from etc. So you use an affiliate like or your reseller account to register a domain name, is that bad? You got them a better price than if they went to go daddy, and the commission is not coming out of their pocket. Is that wrong?

People get offended if you use an affiliate link. I really do not understand this. If you buy a car the sales person earns a commission right? It is the same thing, it's not like the commission is coming out of their pocket.

Are you a leader or a follower?

Do you follow some one because they talk nice, even if they do not have a proven track record? Or, do you follow someone that knows what they are doing?

Well it is only human nature to stay with people that tell you what you want to hear, rather than what you need to hear.

It's almost like people subconsciously say "I dont mind being ripped off by him because he is so sweet".

2011, follow a leader, not a loser.

Happy New Year.
