My view about testimonials

A testimonial should be a personal recommendation from an other person for YOU or your product or service.

I still see a lot of testimonials that are no testimonials or but ads for someone else's affiliate link, product or service.

When you receive a testimonial you can approve or disapprove. You can remove also testimonials that are already on your profile.

Sometimes there is a daily job or task campaign to write a testimonial for somebody. Personally I do not like it because it is my vision that it must come from the heart.

Of course when you have already somebody in mind because a person helped you or write good blogs it is ok to earn some credits with it.

You should also keep in mind that a testimonial no only affects the receiver of the testimonial but the writer also.
Think about it: how does it look if you write a testimonial for somebody that is known as a spammer or scammer? The person who receives can accept or decline but you as the sender can never take it back.
