Two programs that add real value to your online business ventures.
If you like hype, then this review is not for you. If you like real practical advise, then please continue reading.
As you tour the Apsense, or jump from one website to another, you will undoubtedly be bombarded with all sorts of advertising. Everything from oils and potions to real estate and investment banking offers and everything in between. I would say "use your common sense", but if people really wanted to use common sense most of these "snake oil" sales people would be out of business.
The fact of the matter is that people will listen to what they want, and if what they hear appeals to a basic or primal need, many will suspend common sense and act irrationally.
Every person purporting to do business online needs at least three things to succeed. 1) a product; 2) traffic; 3) advertising. Most will seek out the least expensive or free tools. Others will spend money at the spur of the moment for a tool they need but do not know where to get it, others will simply hope and pray.
If you are a business person, you will either have your own products to sell, ie, ebooks you've written, reports and articles you've authored, software you have developed. Or, if you do not have your own product you will be selling someone else's as an affiliate. Online the term affiliate simply refers to a commissioned sales person. In either case, you will need traffic and advertising.
If you have been online for any length of time you will have heard that the money is in the list. Simply put, you need a list of potential buyers. Obviously the best way to attract potential buyers is to have something they want and need, the best way to earn over and over again, is to have something they will keep coming back for, a membership site, a subscription, etc. One of the most effective ways of getting and keeping a list of ready to buy customers is by having a group and building trust. This can easily be accomplished by having you own ezine (electronic magazine), or newsletter that people subscribe to. In order to be effective at sending out an email to your list of subscribers you need an autoresponder. An autoresponder is an emailing system that both allows people to subscribe to your list, can instantly send out a notice informing them that they have successfully subscribed to your list, and can send out your ezine/newsletter or email on a pre-defined schedule.
To attract people to both, your ezine subscribe box and to your product's promotional pages you need traffic. These two things are so interrelated that it is hard to have one with out the other.
There are many services that offer autoresponders and I will list a few of the most popular at the end of this article, however, the one I use and recommend is Traffic Wave.
Traffic Wave is a professional autoresponder service loaded with many features to help you succeed with your online venture. In addition to being the most inexpensive autoresponder service of the three main one's currently on the market, it is easy to set up, they offer excellent customer service and comes with loads of resources. And if this is not enough, they also have a multi-tiered affiliate program. This means that if you refer just two or three people and they pay for the service your autoresponder will be free. Pretty awesome right?
The next thing you will need is traffic. Many people use traffic exchanges in order to get free advertising. There are many great traffic exchanges to use, and many will actually drive traffic to your sites.
Personally, I have tried many and still use a few. But if I were to recommend one to upgrade in, which is what in essence I am doing, then I would recommend that you upgrade in Traffic Swarm.
Traffic Swarm is an established Traffic Exchange service that has been around since the being of the traffic exchange craze. In the early days TE's were called startpage programs. Of all the TE's, Traffic Swarm is relativley inexpensive, especially if you get in when they have one of there many sales. For example I upgraded to a paid member when they offered two months of service for the price of one and a half. I saved $10.00 for a service I was going to get anyway.
Another important thing to note about Traffic Swarm is it's affiliate structure. As a Pro Member, you will to earn $5.00 every single month for each Pro Member that you refer. That means that if you refer just six Pro Members, your membership can be completely FREE! Plus if the Pro members that you referred to Traffic Swarm refer others who then turn Pro, you will earn $4 per month for those referrals! And this goes down five levels, as follows:
On Level You Earn
1 $5
2 $4
3 $3
4 $2
5 $1
If you used these two services to promote your online business, and added a link to each in the footer of your websites, social network profiles, Revpages, blogs, etc. you could be using them for free and still make a small profit.
