Halloween Constume Idea The Cat In The Hat

Attached you will find two photos of my grandson, Justin's Cat In The
Hat Costume that I made year before last for the Dr.Suess' Birthday
Party
The Schools here hold every year on his Birthday.

It is simple and reusable if you can find a hat perhaps at a book
store or a costume shop I would call first and locate one.

Next cut out the dickie from white fabric even a piece of sheet
Get the stick on Velcro dots available at Staples ..
Use these to stick the dickie to the front of a black sweat shirt or
long sleeved Jersey
I used a Red hair bow which I pinned on from the inside of the shirt
The bottom is black sweat pants
Fast , creative and simple you don't even need a sewing machinel
The best part is it is reusable with a larger size for a child so they
can use it year after year or had it down to their younger sister.

Unfortunately Justin and Autumn's mother has metastatic melanoma and
could go as the character from the nightmare before Christmas this
year if she is feeling well enough to go out on Halloween
