Firefox is The Browser I Recommend for Internet Marketing

I love Chrome but it has limitations. Internet Explorer ? There is at least one very good reason to stay away from it. Firefox is the logical browser for business use.

Recently, there was a site who had malware problems. Firefox detected it, Chrome too, but not IE. Oh Lord. I?m glad I use Firefox. Browsing more securely is a good thing.

When I got interested in Internet marketing, back in september 2009, I was using Internet Explorer. I had never used any other browser, because at my job, we had no choice, the applications didn?t work properly or at all with other browsers.

I had heard of Firefox and knew it was very popular, but the multitude of add-ons and plug-ins were a repellant for me, I thought it would make my experience a frustrating one.

After a few weeks, I read rave reviews of Chrome, especially of the simplicity of its use. I tried it and got hooked.

I bought many products, downloaded a ton of eBooks, special reports, assisted to webinars. I was looking for THE answer to my Internet marketing needs, because there was no question that if I continued, it was for the long haul.

At the beginning of January 2010, I hadn?t started anything. I was putting too much of my spare time on the Internet. I had neglected my family all those months. I put Internet marketing on hold.

In June 2010, feeling I would be more reasonable with my money and my time, I decided to give it another shot.

One month later, I stopped reading and watching videos and got active.

Some websites were offering nice toolbars but they usually didn?t work with Chrome. At a point, I saw a toolbar which I definitely wanted. I downloaded Firefox and installed the toolbar.

So began my daily browsing with Firefox. I got used to the differences. I like the way Chrome shows the download progress at the bottom of the window, better than in a separate window like Firefox does, but it?s a minor issue.

I read reviews saying that Firefox is adopting some of Chrome?s concepts, clearly showing the increasing popularity of Chrome. I appreciate that Firefox is responding to it.

I now enjoy the add-ons and plug-ins. And I haven?t scratched the surface of all the possibilities. Here are some that caught my attention.

For FTP, before using FileZilla again, consider using this FTP add-on. Here?s a link for it, with a video explaining how to install and use it http://mywebmarketingservices.ca/2010/09/free-ftp-software-how-to-install-free-ftp-extension/

I am a member of Sweeva. I installed its toolbar. I use the ?browse? and ?add site? buttons regularly. Also, I have a laptop. I use an external monitor, so I have 2 screens. It allows me to put a Firefox window on a screen by itself. To do that, simply click and hold on the tab you want to drag, then drag it to the other screen. It becomes a new Firefox window. You then have 2 different windows running Firefox.

Here?s a neat trick when you want to open a new tab right beside the active one. Simply right click on a link in the active tab, choose ?open in new tab?, and voil? !

If anyone has had a different experience than mine with Chrome, please let me know in the comments.
