Revenue sharing programs become the latest craze - should you get involved?

Should you get involved?  If you are completely passive, it's OK if you get involved, but very soon after they start, preferably the first or second day.  Then the payout on shares is very good and you stand a very good chance of recovering the cost of your share(s) and making a profit.

If you share the program with others, it can be even better, as some of these programs pay up to 20% in referral bonuses.

But basically they are just a money circulation game, where there will probably be more losers than winners.  As usual the winners will be those that get in early, the recruiters and the admin.  The losers will be those that get in too late, or those that get in early, but compound their earnings and keep buying new shares.

As it's the current craze, you will probably see more of these hitting the market in the next few weeks.  This is a problem as they will effectively saturate the market and their longevity will be compromised.

So if you going to join the craze, which is similar to the surfing craze of last year, you need to learn the rules - get in early, share with others if you can, and don't compound your earnings.

4DShares thought they had a solution to the 'getting in early' problem - they had a much advertised launch last Saturday when over 5000 people tried to buy their shares at once!

As we know, they hit big problems with the site not coping, and they are still working through the share purchases manually.  They are apparently half way through with this and half of those that joined are now seeing their purchases and receiving their revenue shares.  So it's working, and all those that upgraded at launch will get paid.

But unless a program has a huge server capability, big launches are not the way to go!
